Ingredients

  • 1 onion diced
  • 1 green pepper diced
  • 1 stalk celery diced
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 15oz can tomato puree
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • hamburger buns for serving

Instructions

  • Sweat the vegetables in a pan for a minute
  • Add the ground beef and brown
  • Once the ground beef is cooked and the vegetables are soft, drain excess liquid from the mixture
  • Add chili powder and tomato puree and simmer until it reduces slightly
  • Taste and season. Serve over hamburger buns.
